The Shroud is a world where humans banished an evil race thousands of years ago. It is here that the most evil creatures in universe live. However now these nemeses seek to come back to our world and destroy everything we love. The only way to stop these monsters from emerging is to close their breaches, an opening in time between our World and The Shroud. To ensure the safety of our loved ones players take control of Taro as he completes various challenges that will be a true physical and mental test.
To succeed Taro needs to protect the home planet, acting as a caretaker of nature, battling off evil foes when the need arises. His journey will find him farming and harvesting his own crops and livestock, going on quests, solving puzzles, engaging in combat, mining for gems, and fishing the deep blue lakes.
Taking the action nationwide, players can see how they stack up against others by partaking in GPS challenges and the ‘International Farmers League’. Taking full advantage of the mobile phone platform and the latest technology, The Shroud’s location based gameplay bridges the virtual and real-worlds, so players can physically visit real-world locations to generate special in-game challenges. The success (or failure) of these challenges will all be ranked and posted to The Shroud online community, as well as gain players special rewards.

Harvesting
In Harvest Mode the goal is to sustain your farm. You will need to clear fields so that crops can be planted – this includes chopping stumps, breaking rocks, cutting grass, and tilling the soil. Care will be required for the crops to flourish, but once they are ready, you can sell the crops to make money for upgrades and new items. At the end of the day, your farm is a collection of raw materials you grow and creatures you’ve collected and bred. Some of these creatures include chickens and cows which live in the barn, with feed held in the silo.
Tools you will need for harvesting:
Shovel – used for digging
Hammer – smash rocks
Axe – chop wood, remove stumps
Sickle – clear crops/weeds
Watering Can – water crops

- Clear the garden area of debris.
- Til the earth in nice groups.
- Water and seed the soil.
- Let plants grow until ripe.
There are two 6 Month Seasons for farming in The Shroud
The two seasons suit different types of crops.
Season one crops include: Tomato, berry, radish, and melon
Season two crops include: Potato, carrot, pumpkin, berry
